Upset about people being hateful or unfeeling in response to the police murder of a black trans woman in LA, and the gaping silence around WOC and queer/trans experiences of police brutality. I hate the #alllivesmatter folks because its simply truth that some (white, cis, hetero, men) lives are more valued than others. But goddammit, if we are not holding intersectional oppression on many levels accountable for these deaths, if we dont care about people in a variety of extremely vulnerable positions, then what are we fighting for? We cant break down one violence and side eye another.
