Urban Vision, who are responsible for Traffic Management on behalf of Salford City Council, have received further updates to the current programme of works currently taking place on the A57 Liverpool Road, Peel Green Roundabout & Barton Lane. Key Information Update: • Works continue on the Peel Green Roundabout as part of the WGIS & Port Salford Works. A new phase of works begins on Mon 5 August which involves extending the off peak lane closure to a larger area of the roundabout. • The Eccles and Irlam Roadwork’s leaflet is currently being distributed to over 16500 homes & businesses in the Eccles and Irlam area. • The A57 Traffic Flow Scheme is to be reversed on Friday 9 August for the Salford City Reds vs. Leeds Rhinos rugby game which kicks off at 8.00pm. Cones and signs will be put out between approximately 4.30pm. The cones will be placed between the Stadium junction to Peel Green roundabout, and will be in place until the majority of fans have entered the Stadium which is approximately 8.00pm.
