Urgent!! Meet Sunny, formerly known as Bugsy. We are giving this guy a new name and a new start. He’s got a big personality and a great big heart. He loves to be your sidekick on the road and is super affectionate. He knows how to sit and wants to please. He does protect high value items like food and treats though, so it’s essential that we find someone with experience dealing with this issue--and FAST. He’s had a lot of upheaval in the past few weeks and is understandably scared in the shelter. This young ball of energy came to us from a local animal control. He’s played great with other dogs in the past, but due to his resource guarding behavior we want to play it safe and set him up for success. That means a home with no children and no other pets. He is a great boy. Sunny is a young English Bulldog whos just under 50 lbs, and is all muscle. He is stubborn and strong, but responds well to training. He walks well with a Gentle Leader harness...but definitely eat your Wheaties before walking! He loves to go in the car and poke his head into the front seat to see whats going on.
