Urgent Plea for the PrTo All Faithful brothers & sisters in Christ: Greetings in Christ Jesus--...Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you. Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints, (Col. 1:2b-4). I have in the last 15 or so minutes received word from brother Samuel Bagsangi, faithful gospel preacher of the Galimuyod church of Christ (in the Philippines) that his second son, Christopher Samuel, age 14 or thereabouts, has been diagnosed with dengue fever. Those familiar with this know that it can be deadly. He is now in one of the Candon City hospitals in the area where they live. Please pray for Christopher Samuel fervently, that he may recover, and please pray for his family. He was one of the young people baptized during our lectureship at Galimuyod back in July. I request this of the faithful in the Lord because the Scripture states: Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much (James 5:16). For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil (1 Pet. 3:12).
