Urgent! Reading and Writing Teachers Needed We are looking for experienced, responsible, and creative/fun teachers who are available to teach on Saturdays from 9am to 12pm; 1:30pm to 4:30pm. Successful candidates should have a university degree, work well with children and high school students, and be able to teach reading and writing and edit student papers. The standard North American accent is preferred. Language Canada is an expanding boutique language school with 2 branches in Taipei. For 15 years, our mission is to create an all-English learning environment that facilitates (K-12 and college) students’ development into effective communicators, rational critical thinkers, and life-long curious learners. With a focus on reading/writing and critical thinking, LC serves many students from prestigious local schools and international schools in the metropolitan Taipei area. Hours and pay will depend on the teaching performance. There may be opportunities for full-time positions (with resident visa and health insurance), if the candidate demonstrates the appropriate level of teaching skills and classroom management.
