Urian Student Assembly I attended the said event hoping that it’ll fed up my curiosity with regards to the performance of the present administration. I thought then that they’d be able to clarify things out specially about the financial accounts of the different events that were organized by the SSG last semester and that they’ll show the prospective budget for this semester. The reason as to why the SSG fee increased wasnt explained further. It was just said that they’re increasing the fee because it hadnt changed for a long time. Wow. Such precision. I was expecting Mr. President himself to give an address, but he wasnt able to be there. The other officers took over but they ended up looking like they’re hurrying up for something. As a whole, the program was lousy. It just seemed like FSUU Confessions is making its live deliverance of messages towards the Urian populace through that text-this-number-and-we’ll-read-your-message-out-loud segment of the hosts. The entertainment part of the program was emphasized (lots of intermission numbers), whereas the more important things to be discussed were left behind. Theyve announced an open forum, but nobody seemed to care just as how some officers don’t care either. They went ahead despite the fact that the program wasnt done yet. You might as well wonder why I didnt count the HIV discussion as an important thing. Well, it’s just that it should have been placed as a separate event- sort of a symposium. Anyways, it’s a good thing that the SSG raised awareness on the said matter. Likewise, the presentation of the different program governors’ plans for this semester’s noticeable enough. This is just an opinion. Anticipating a better assembly next time. :) AP-III Nakamatikod
