Urology stopped in at 4 a.m. We both agree that things look okay from that perspective as far as the actual surgery, incisions, sites. He will always have some bacteria in his urine do to the fact of cathing. There is no fever. That is about as far as they can go from their end. The hospital doctor stopped by just awhile ago. I explained to him I feel like we are getting nowhere. We are just sitting here doing nothing while Oakley is sick and just pumping him full of anti-nausea medication. That is really doing no good. He said that Oakleys history is very rare and it is hard to pinpoint what exactly is going on. That is 1 bonus point with me when a doctor can admit they have no idea. Dont feed me bs. But then he said he is comparing CBCs/labs...yet the only new set was drawn on Saturday. I am smarter than that so put my guard back up. I monitor his online chart very closely myself and brought up that how is he comparing things when there is nothing to compare to now, only a week or so ago. He is going to contact our pediatrician and see what new avenue we should travel. The pediatrician that is on call is our favorite and is very thorough so I am hoping he stops by. I will wait until about noon to give then a chance to get things going, if not, I will have to ruffle some feathers and that is okay on my end because this isnt some test dummy, this is my son. I am also going to post Oakleys online link to his fundraising page. All we are living on is my husbands disability payment and all that really pays is our rent. We are having a very hard time with getting back and forth among several other things, but right now, that is my main focus. Oakley needs to be able to have both of us up here or at least available to get here right away, even if that means all of his siblings have to be here as well. It would really help to be able to drive back and forth from home as needed, especially considering our 4 other children start school tomorrow. I really appreciate everyones input and especially the prayers. We just have to come up with answers soon. Once I hear something, I will post an update. Oak is resting right now.
