Us men spend our best years fighting to preserve the meaning in the meaningless, and spend our last years extracting the greatness from them, hopelessly trying to build a legacy out of a life that was for naught. Every mans natural instinct is to want to be King, its this hopeless desire to rule that molds us into the nail the hammer of bureaucracy can readily hit. Whether suited, or booted we are servants seeking our way up a ladder that doesnt exist. Life is so finite, so short, yet so brilliantly orchestrated that it must be divine. We seek to salvage the glimmers of hope preserved in our memories, of a time when we were youthful, full of life and dreams, only to be dashed down by a reality someone else created for us. In essence this makes us pawns on an invisible chess board, each move we believe we are making is a move made by an invisible hand. So I ask when my journey is over in this life that the divine makes it rain, so that life can spring forth as my legacy, so that new growth can be found, I ask that I have the strength and power to create a suitable world for my seed, a world I wish was created for me. The torch gets passed and each generation tries to improve on what the last could not, I ask that my seeds can do everything I couldnt do, but that it be their desire to take on the passion of their father and be the change they wish to see. ~Aaron~ https://youtube/watch?v=84rxoIqVJo0
