Usain Bolt richer than Cristiano Ronaldo & Rafael Nadal according to rankings Posted: May 29, 2014 Jamaican sprint superstar Usain Bolt is the 7th wealthiest athlete in the world according to a study by financial magazine wallstcheatsheet. The magazine, which based its study on endorsement deals, used information garnered from popular sports marketing website opendorse. Bolt, the double sprint world record holder, in September signed a new deal with German sportswear giant Puma that will run through and beyond the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio De Janeiro. Aside from Puma, Bolt also has deals with Gatorade, Visa, and Comcast. He is ranked ahead of Rafael Nadal ($21 million), Cristiano Ronaldo ($21 million), and Maria Sharapova ($23 million),. The list is topped by Tiger Woods with $65 million ahead of Roger Federer ($65 million), Phil Mickelson ($44 million), Lebron James ($42 million), Kobe Bryant ($34 million ) and Mahendra Singh Dhoni ($28 million) the captain of the Indian cricket team.
