User Feedback on Imran Khans APS visit Media Coverage Today Chairman Imran Khan visited Army Public School to pay respect to the Shaheeds and to encourage the students. When Mr and Mrs.Khan reached there, they were warmly welcomed by the students there and the students chanted the following slogans Aai Aai PTI and Go Nawaz Go.At the same time outside the school, there were 9-10 people who protested against Khan. But why? Some of the following questions are raised: - Why did they protested against Imran Khan? - Were they the real parents of the Shaheeds? - Why didnt the students showed the same response? Imran Khan said I don’t understand what the point of the protests were… I am just a chief of a party and Pervaiz Khattak is the chief minister of the province, but the school is run by the army. The people who were proesting outside were set-up by PMLN and ANP, which the pictures show. If you compare the videos of APS visits, students of APS were more delighted to see Imran Khan than COAS. This ends the third question! Our media played a negative role in today. Why? Here are some following facts: -The media at the very first sight showed the negativity. -The media did not cover, when Khan was inside the school. -Not a proper coverage given to Khan. -Not showed the visit of Khan to the homes of the Shaheeds. As Mr and Mrs.Khan reached the Army Public School, some protestors chanted agianst Imran Khan. Media at the very first sight start showing it and referred the protestors as the parents of Shaheeds. The very first job of a journalist is to Authenticate the news first before letting it out. But our journalists didnt have time for that. However, the media covered the protestors and was busy showing that. But did not had time to show the inside story. Where both Mr and Mrs.Khan were warmly welcomed by the students. When COAS and Jamat-e-Islami the media did the complete coverage to them. But Imran Khan was not given the proper or positive coverage from the media. Our media did not covered nor showed Khans visit to the homes of the Shaheeds. Is this our so-called Free Media? Is this true jounalism? The questions remain.... Written by Ashir Ahmed
