Using Your Social Media Platform for Good- The Litmus Test. Many of us who use social media for business feel strongly that we have a duty to also use our platform to improve our communities. HOWEVER, we should be very aware of what we post. If you ever wonder if you should post something, here is my litmus test: ***Will posting this encourage honest, healthy dialogue or impact someone in a positive way?*** If an item will not, I will not post it. Be careful not to post items simply because they are sensational or spark outrage. When we do that, we are giving ignorance and hate our platform. We are responsible for the negative (or positive) energy that we spread. ♥
