Using social media to promote fitness and a healthy lifestyle is fantastic. It’s an outlet to post inspirational messages, nutritional information, and impressive performances. Unfortunately, more and more I am seeing acts of stupidity that lead to injury, instead of feats of strength and grace. With that said… I ask- please keep posting videos and pics, but be aware of the message you are sending. There is a big difference in seeing someone preform a highly technical gymnastics move, a heavy squat, or a snatch PR, than seeing them deadlifting in high heels, handstand walking on treadmills, and doing one legged overhead squats on bosu balls. Now- go out there and do something awesome…
