Usual Friday night at Dundalk Stadium for us where we run four. Ive doubled up in both races and lets hope we are involved in both finishes. A seriously competitive 7f handicap for this time of year and I run Burn the Boats and Trinity Force here. Burn will have a holiday after this regardless and will concentrate on mile races next year. While Trinity is coming back from a wind operation and I hope hes ok under pressure as hes a horse I like a lot. Captain Teemo was gelded after his last race and I made a mistake doing that as he fell apart after that op. Hes back to himself now and Im running him here as hes off to the HIT sales next Tuesday. Hopefully he can run well and become attractive to some foreign buyer. Unrequited also runs here as with Tom Maddens claim he will have no weight on his back and hes well overdue a win for his patient owner. Colin probably would have chose him to ride if the weights were right. Hes still 3 off the apprentice record held by Joseph O Brien and while it would nice to achieve that hes had a fantastic season and we are all delighted for him as our stable jockey. The highlight for me has been the yards consistency over the 7 months of the turf season. HGD
