Usually, Im a live-and-let-live sort of guy. But Im gonna make a slightly more contentious stance with this one. I think men should have some sort of say in whether a child is aborted. This is because I believe every responsibility should have proportionate benefits, in the name of fairness. If I can be considered a father by the courts when my (hypothetical) bastard child lives, then I should definitely be considered a father when its life is threatened. You dont have it both ways. Either I have a legal interest in it, and accept the liabilities (like child support) or I have no legal interest in it, and the mother can do what she wants, and do it on her own. As the second option involves little responsibility for the actions of the father, Im all for the former option.
