Usually, when organizations are struggling, the leaders of those organizations make an effort to curb their spending. But according to documents obtained by the Washington Free Beacon, one leader at the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) apparently took a very different route -literally. Chairman of the cash-strapped USPS, Ruth Goldway, spent more than $36,000 on exotic foreign trips to Rio de Janeiro and Doha between 2012 and 2013 while taxpayers covered the costs. As her chairmanship is set to expire at the end of November, what actions should be taken to reprimand such irresponsible choices?
