Utah has never been a strong state in the number of members of Congress. However, For most of the states history the individual members have proven to be a force (of nature). They have been outspoken and influential. Other than Mike Lee we currently have the weakest group of back-benchers ever assembled from Utah. Congressman Jason Chaffetz show some real promise, but the rest dont show much leadership or stamina. Obviously the jury is out on Mia Love, but her vote for John Boehner demonstrates initial weakness we had hoped would be avoided.
