Uttarakhand tragedy was a classic case of criminal negligence. CBI should probe the cause of death of 5000 people. Who is responsible and accountable for the death of so many people. Questions: ISRO has 65 satellite ,budget of 5000 crore INR,what is the use of these satellite if you can not remote sense such events. What is the MET deptt doing,are they not responsible to predict rainfall. Media- Is broadcasting weather forecast to all national region is not medias responsibility . CAG audit reports were ignored which tells the state was not prepared for disaster mgmt. Why were no doppler radars installed in the region when it is susceptible to such rainfall.Doppler Radars can predict rainfall by sensing droplet size upto 80 kms in the air. Why there was no comtrol for pilgrims,registration ,movement control,evacuation procedures? Is , All this is not criminal negligence???
