Uttoxeter Leisure Centre Redevelopment Weekly Update: With the demolition stages of the development now in its final phase, this week has seen the arrival on site of the new steel frame work, which will begin to form the new pool structure. The steel structure is being assesmbled on site ready for craning into position over the coming weeks. Site Manager Steve said: This week has seen the continuation of ground works to the rear of the existing swimming pool structure. We anticipate completion of these works over the next week, the final sections of the existing pool structure have been cut and will be removed by crane over the next week. Steel sections forming the new swimming pool structure have arrived on site and are being assembled prior to erection over the coming weeks. The project continues to run to schedule and we look forward to bringing you further updates and pictures next week.
