V-E-R-Y- INTERESTING MEETING YESTERDAY AT PHX SKY HARBOR ATO! I was invited to the Shop Stewards meeting so we could talk about Get Out The Vote and who should walk up but US Airways Managing Director, John Daly and the Director of Passenger Service, Steve Olson! I immediately stood up and announced, Too bad boys, you missed my talk on union organizing (or something of that nature) but let me give you one of these! as I reached for the red wrist band I was wearing that says: OUR VOICE IS STRONGER TOGETHER. I handed one to John and said, Wait a minute Steve, Im sure I have one in my purse! John Daly was putting the red wrist band ON while I was looking for one for Steve and he said, Well it probably wont fit anyway. I said, Thats OK! Ill stretch it! I also had the RED COAT DVD JACKET in my hand and was showing it to them lol! John opened it and my TEAMSTER business card fell out. He tucked it back inside and I told him its a great DVD starring our CEO and Ive been mailing it as far away as Puerto Rico! Its been over 24 hrs. Has there been a backlash? NO! Thats Teamster organizing baby! Leaving NO STONE UNTURNED AND BRINGING HOME A WIN!!
