V a l e n t i n e ’ s M e n u Saturday 14th December Not many places left but we thought you better see what we are doing! We are holding back on some of our larger tables for four to six people so if you want to spend a romantic night with others we do have some available! 3 courses £35.00 per person Starters Homemade soup ~ Pea, mint & watercress served with or without crispy pancetta (v) - Pigeon breast (served pink) caramelised apple, chorizo & balsamic glaze - Crab & salmon fish cakes with a saffron aioli - Chargrilled vegetable tian, grilled halloumi & a gazpacho dressing ~~~ Main Courses Vegetarian wellington, butternut squash puree, parmentier potatoes, wilted spinach (v) - 6oz fillet steak (cooked medium/rare) topped with chicken liver & Madeira parfait, wrapped in Parma ham, with sautéed wild mushrooms, homemade chunky chips - Honey roasted Gressingham duck breast (cooked medium/rare) crushed herb potatoes, blanched ribbon vegetables & an apple & pomegranate salsa - Pan fried halibut with a spiced crayfish bisque, new potatoes, topped with samphire ~~~ Desserts Passion fruit & vanilla cheesecake - White chocolate & raspberry brownie, fresh clotted cream - Rhubarb tarte tatin, mascarpone cheese - Selection of local cheeses with biscuits, celery & tomato chutney ~~~ Or for £5.00 per person you can add an additional cheese & biscuits course
