VACANCIES Four (4) vacancies: FACT Post 1 - Program Manager OVC (PM-OVC) Post 2 - Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist (M&ES) Post 3 - Household Economic Strengthening/Livelihoods Specialist Post 4 - Finance and Administration Manager (FAM) Deadline: 11 September 2014 FACT intends to implement a project aimed at mitigating the impact of HIV and AIDS on Zimbabwes children by enhancing the sustainability of care and support services for Orphan and Vulnerable Children (OVC). FACT is looking for suitable candidates to fill the following positions that have arisen to implement the OVC project. 1. Program Manager OVC (PM-OVC) PM-OVC is a very senior position responsible for overseeing all OVC programming within the organization. Preferred qualifications - A Masters Degree in social sciences or other relevant professional qualification with demonstrable experience in integrated and comprehensive child rights programming - At least 7 years experience managing donor funded child rights programs at a senior level, with demonstrable capacity to create and/or maintain complex systems and procedures involving multiple implementation sites, multiple partners and diverse beneficiaries. 2. Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist (M&ES) The M&ES will be responsible for all monitoring, evaluation and reporting activities of the programme. The M&ES leads the development of and manages the Projects Monitoring and evaluation Plan (M&E Plan). Preferred qualifications - Post graduate Degree/Diploma in social sciences or a related field - Experience in design and implementation of quality assessments, baselines and evaluations - Working knowledge of SPSS or STATA or Epi 7 and Microsoft Access - A minimum of 5 years experience in M&E, 3 years of which being experienced in donor programmes 3. Household Economic Strengthening/Livelihoods Specialist The Household Economic Strengthening/Livelihoods Specialist will provide technical leadership to the development of strategies, guidelines and manuals, and rolling out of these to ensure that community members and households caring for vulnerable children have increased and ongoing capacity to meet their basic needs. Preferred qualifications - Post graduate Degree/Diploma in Agriculture, Economics, Enterprise Development, International Development or other closely related field - Demonstrable leadership, strategic planning and technical skills in programming for improving childrens health, nutrition, education, protection, psychosocial well-being and care as well as addressing household economic and food security - At least 7 years of demonstrable experience in household economic strengthening interventions in all or most of the fields of economic strengthening, microenterprise development, value chain and livelihoods. 4. Finance and Administration Manager (FAM) The FAM will be responsible for overseeing project finances and other operational and administrative duties.
