VACANCY - Bench assistant at Ute Decker – jewellery Ute Decker – utedecker is an established studio-jeweller based at Cockpit Arts, Holborn in central London. I am looking for an experienced bench assistant: • 1 – 2 days / week – flexible • Immediate start • assisting in preparing and finishing pieces • basic bench tasks including filing (lots of filing), texturing, cleaning, polishing, soldering While advanced jewellery making skills are not required (would of course be a plus) the ideal candidate would need good basic skills and experience at the bench to work unaided. Might suit an emerging maker looking to supplement their income while building their own practice.
