Whole Systems Partnership and the University of Leeds Whole Systems Partnerships (WSP) provides support in Partnership and Strategy development for clients in health and social care. Working in partnership with the University of Leeds we have a very exciting opportunity for a recently qualified Post-Graduate to “fast track” their career by leading a high profile and strategically important project to a successful conclusion. A Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP), Europe’s largest Graduate recruitment programme, has recently been established between the University of Leeds and WSP, driven by WSP’s desire to explore, refine and validate, by an iterative approach, tools for evaluating relational health in health sector organisations and recommending changes and interventions. This project will focus on demonstrating the tools effectiveness in delivering positive outcomes for clients and patients, encouraging adoption by clients and thus increasing consultancy income. Benefits You will be based at the company premises in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire but will be employed by the University for the duration of the project, a fixed period of 2.5 years. The School of Healthcare will provide academic and technical support to you throughout the project. Requirements • A Min 2:1 honours, or equivalent, first degree and/or Masters in a Social Science, Business or similar discipline. Plus a PhD in a topic demonstrating excellent knowledge and application of both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. • An understanding of public sector cultures is desirable; some experience of working in a health or social care environment and/or in a complex organisation would be advantageous. • Self-starter with an innovative mind and a desire to work with accuracy and make a difference in a business environment. • Mature outlook capable of working on own initiative, both with a team and with people from different disciplines, and able to inter-relate with people working in complex, external organisations. • Excellent communication and numeracy skills. • Good time management and the organisational skills to meet deadlines.
