VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT Resurrecting Iraqi People Centre (RIPC) is seeking qualified applicants for the below position for its Nassiriyah Protection, Assistance and Reintegration Center (PARC): Title of the position: PARC IT/Database Officer (1 in Nassirriyah) Date of issue: 24 August 2013 Deadline for applications: 30 august 2013 KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The incumbent will undertake the following responsibilities under the general supervision of RIPC General Manager and the direct supervision of the PARC manager and perform the following duties: • Enter data gathered by the PARC Mobile Teams. • Contribute to the drafting and review of reports in coordination with the PARC Manager • Review data entry to ensure accuracy of data and recommend revisions as appropriate • Maintain the assets and equipments of the project • Translate documents if necessary. • Organize the documents filing of the offices • Answer telephone and visitors’ reception. • Perform other duties as required. QUALIFICATIONS: • Education : University degree in Computer Science or any other related field is required; or High School Diploma with Post-secondary course in IT • Professional experience: Minimum 3 years of previous relevant job experience • Skills: o Excellent communication skills o Knowledge of English is an asset o Excellent organizational skills • Personal qualities: o Highly motivated with strong interest in humanitarian work, dynamic and energetic with strong personality to manage work pressure o Proven team player with excellent inter-personal skills. CONDITIONS: Availability: Immediate.
