VACANCY As a result of expansion, our client, a pharmaceutical company based in Lagos (Ikeja) seeks to recruit the following qualified personnel to fill vacant positions: 1. ACCOUNTANT This is a managerial position with responsibility to keep the financial records of the organization Job Description - Preparation of Profit and Loss Statement, Statement of Financial Position, Management Accounts and coordinating with external auditors - Liaise with tax authorities for payment of PAYE and other statutory taxes - Prepare and monitor expenses and ensure they are in line with budgets - Responsible for management of account payables and account receivables - Timely payment to suppliers on invoice due dates - Prepare and submit weekly sales and purchases reports for all branches - Monthly bank account and ATM reconciliations - Posting of all expenses in the software daily - Ensure proper product pricing to avoid revenue leakages - Management of companys asset register and updating it s at when necessary - Monthly accounts reconciliation with major suppliers - Administer bank facilities and ensure all obligations to the banks are fulfilled as at when due. Liaise with Bankers on the maintenance of facilities, monitor interest rates, exchange rates and current issues in the banking sector - Effective coordination of the Audit and Treasury units QUALIFICATION/SKILL - B.Sc degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration at an accredited university - ICAN or ACCA chartered - Minimum 3 years of financial and management experience in the day-to-day financial operations of an organization of at least 20 staff - Proficiency in financial software applications (Quick Books and other financial softwares) - Age (above 30 years) - Must be analytical and pay attention to details - Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills - High level of written and spoken English - A sound working knowledge of computer (Word, Excel, E-mail, Internet & PowerPoint) - Must be able to work unsupervised Reporting Line: Report to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) REMUNERATION Very competitive in accordance with our industry standard 2. INTERNAL AUDITOR/ACCOUNT OFFICER The Internal Audit Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the internal control processes of the company Job Description/Functions - Design and implement SOPs for the company and the necessary control mechanism - Monitor compliance/adherence to companys policies and procedures - Detect and prevent fraud with the sole aim of safeguarding the companys assets - Conduct check and verification of account payables and receivables - Conduct prepayment audit review of payment vouchers and supporting documents - Conduct post-payment audit on bank/cash operations and verify payments to third parties - Participate in audit follow up review, special audits, loss and fraud investigations - Support in providing quality control checks on products - Inventory control and regular stock audit in all the branches - Support account in the following areas Review of Management Account/Companys Annual Report Review of Annual Budget Bank Reconciliations - Ensure compliance to relevant tax laws (local & international) and professional standards (books of account and financial statements) - Identifying potential risk areas and how to mitigate them QUALIFICATION/SKILLS - Hold at least B.Sc degree, specialising in Accounting or other related fields - Proficiency in financial software applications (Quick Books) - Age (above 30 years) - At least 3 years experience in audit/internal quantity and quality control - Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills - High level of written and spoken English - A sound working knowledge of computer (Word, Excel, E-mail, Internet and PowerPoint) - Willing to work at field Reporting Line: Report to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) REMUNERATION Very competitive in accordance with our industry standard 3. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY MANAGER The IT Manager is responsible for the computer systems within the organization, ensuring proper installation and functioning of all hardware and software Support Services - Management and maintenance of our enterprise software (Quick Books and other softwares) - Management of POS terminals. Liaise with banks to ensure all POS terminals are functioning at all times - Ensure all company computers, printers, UPS, TVS, CCTV cameras and other accessories are functional at all times - Responsible for internet connections and links between head office and the branches - Maintaining the company website and regularly update its contents - Ensuring security of data from internal and external attack - Management of the companys telephone networks - Management of the companys customer information system - Providing users with appropriate support and advice - Managing crisis situations, which may involve complex technical hardware or software problems - Training personnel on ICT - Keeping up-to-date with the latest technologies QUALIFICATION - Hold at least B.Sc degree with an IT Professional Certification - Good working knowledge of networking - Proficiency in financial software application (Quick Books) - Age (above 30 years) - At least 3 years experiences in IT Management - A sound working knowledge of computer (Word, Excel, E-mail, Internet and PowerPoint) - Willing to work at field Reporting Line: Report to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) REMUNERATION Very competitive in accordance with our industry standard Interested and qualified candidates should forward their CVs within 5 days to this e-mail address: oluwayinkaoladipo@gmail
