VACANCY NOTICE Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the following posts that have arisen within the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA). HEAD ADMINISTRATION (LEVEL 5) -1 POST-HEAD OFFICE Responsibilities: Managing the procurement portfolio for all ZIMRA Capex items, consumables and services. Arranging and negotiating with garages for best and economical vehicle service, supply of recurrent vehicle spares and accessories. Sourcing and storage of organisation’s fuel requirements at competitive prices. Putting in place policies and procedures for the upkeep of all ZIMRA vehicles and property. Monitor strict adherence to procurement procedures and liaising with State Procurement Board (PSB) on all tender issues. Planning for procurement and storage of all budgeted stock items. Managing stock levels and withdrawals of stock items. Establishing relationship with suppliers of stock items to the organisation’s specifications. Vetting of vendors and keeping lists of recommended suppliers for various products. Ensuring sound service contracts are put in place for all tender awards. Managing ZIMRA Assets and Estates. Making arrangements to provide residential and office accommodation for purposes of execution of ZIMRA business. Submitting periodic reports to the Director HR and Administration. Supervising Administration staff and managing section performance. Conducting any other duties as may be assigned by the Director HR and Administrator. Qualifications and Experience: A degree in Administration/Business Administration or any Social Science Degree Masters’ degree in Business Administration is an added advantage At least Three (3) years’ experience at a managerial level in a large organisation. Knowledge of SAP is a definite advantage Clean Class 4 driver’s license. Other Attributes: Self- starter with ability to work under pressure and beyond stipulated hours. Unquestionable integrity. Good interpersonal and communication skills Ability to drive solution processes ABAP PROGRAMMER – LEVEL 9 (1 POST) Responsibilities: Gathers and analyses user requirements and develops specifications. Develops ABAP programs including system interfaces. Codes, tests and implements ABAP programs and modifications. Researches SAP notes to resolve issues. Document processes, designs, and testing activities. Provides operational support to users’ enquiry. Troubleshoots, identifies and resolves day to day problems that occur with programs or software. Any other duties as may be assigned by the Systems Development Manager. Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent. ABAP Certification is a must. Knowledge of SAP Net Weaver is a distinct advantage. Knowledge of BAPI/RFC/IDOCs/Web Dynpro/SAP BRF is an added advantage At least two years’ experience in object oriented programming. Other Attributes: Ability to work under pressure. Ability to identify and drive solution processes. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Analytical skills and attentive to detail. Good report writing and minute taking skills. Unquestionable integrity. REVENUE TRAINEE-LEVEL 13 Main areas of training include: Application of Tax legislation and procedures Application of Customs and Excise legislation and procedures Tax and duty assessment and collection Auditing and debt management Enforcing import and export controls Qualifications and Experience A Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics/Fiscal Studies or equivalent with an upper second class or better. Computer literacy is an added advantage Applicant should be below 26 years of age Unquestionable integrity.
