VACANCY: PROGRAMME DIRECTOR The Programme Director is a key role in the senior management team, and the organisation is seeking experienced and skilled applicants. The successful candidate will work closely with the Executive Director and will be responsible for creating, researching, planning, and implementing FWRM programmes, as well as assisting in sourcing funding for them. Experience and Qualifications: • At least three years experience in a similar field, specifically in programme management and implementation •In-depth experience in project planning, writing, budgeting and report writing • Experience in analysis of issues, collaboration and advocacy • A demonstrated commitment to equal opportunities for women, legislative change and young women’s development • Previous experience within NGOs is desirable but not necessary • Relevant tertiary qualifications Key competencies: • In-depth knowledge of current human rights challenges and opportunities relating to the organisation • Refined and well-organised multi-tasking skills, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills. • Monitoring and evaluation skills • Able to write accurate activity reports, financial analysis and budgeting skills • Well developed organisational and time management skills • Ability and passion to work as a team player, but also a self-starter with initiative • Analytical ability to enable accurate and innovative analysis of projects processes and improvements • Ability to manage conflicting priorities • Personable and able to work within a customer service framework Salary range: F$40,000 - F$60,000 dependent on academic qualification and work experience. Includes health insurance.
