VACANCY VACANCY VACANCY MINISTRY OF HEALTH/BGMSL RECRUITMENT INTO THE NATIONAL HEALTH PROMOTION PROGRAMME (AS HEALTH PROMOTION OFFICER/ASSISTANT) APPLICATION GUIDELINES Applicants are advised to read carefully the guidelines before proceeding to fill information for a vacancy on the HPO Programme. Purpose of Programme The National Health Promotion Programme employs the services of youthful and exuberant persons in order to disseminate and educate communities, people, and households on how to practice and live healthy. The nature of the programme hence requires the services of serious, articulate and well minded persons in carrying out these services to the populace. We are very strict in the selection and placement of applicants on the programme. This programme is not permanent. It acts as a stop gap for most personnel and as such persons who are selected onto the programme are expected to take advantage to enhance them academically or in any other Endeavour that may deem appropriate. The following must be noted by all applicants: The programme is open to all Ghanaians between the ages of 18-30 years Prospective applicants must possess either of the following in order to proceed with their registration: Priority will be given to Graduate from the school of Hygiene Senior High Secondary (SHS) with emphasis on science, other subject areas will be considered with good grades. NVTI 1 or 2 Diploma Allied Health Exited HEW Beneficiary with 2 years experience Degree holders must note that they may be over qualified for this job. However, Holders of such qualification would be considered upon agreement of the terms of the stipulated job. The mode of delivery of work is through effective communication. Applicants will be expected to exhibit some degree of understanding and ability to speak good English and any one other local dialect. Applicants must take note that all submitted certificates will be verified hence submitting fake or false certificates will be verified hence persons who submit fake or falsified certificate will be dealt by the law. The employment opportunity is on Regional/District basis. Choosing a Region/District other than applicants home Region/District will require that applicant makes the necessary arrangement for accommodation and other required social services personally and at his/her own cost.
