VANDERBURGH, Delmar - World War II Veteran, Lincoln and Welland Regiment; A Company 4th Armored Divison. Del passed away peacefully into the presence of his Lord on March 29, 2014, at the St. Catharines Hospital at the age of 95. Beloved husband to the late Joanna (October 5, 2004). Much loved Dad to Patty (John) Wiens, Warren (Aimee), Bonnie (Rob) Ditmyer. Cherished Grandfather to Brianna and Josh, Aaron, Brittany, Garret, Olivia, Heidi, Trudy and Melody. Loving Great Grandfather to Anna, Ellora, Lilly, Rosie and Ella. Dad Lived out his faith by example, putting others first. We will remember his wisdom and grace. The family will receive friends at the VINELAND CHAPEL of the TALLMAN FUNERAL HOMES, 3277 King St., on Tuesday 6-8:30 pm. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, April 2nd at 10 am at Immanuel Baptist Church, Parnell and Vine Sts. with interment following at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to Canadian War Amps Ontario would be appreciated. Special thank-you to Dr. Peter Hyatt and Dr. H. Kim, Debbie McIntyre and the staff of 3B Palliative Care for their most excellent care. At the going down of the sun and in the morning we will remember them.
