VB Update: I have hesitated to post much about Van Bois - TopicsExpress

VB Update: I have hesitated to post much about Van Bois immigration status for various reasons, but I feel like it is time. Van Boi, Kip, Cliff, Kris, and a few other people have worked countless hours and paid a lot of money trying to get an extension to Van Bois current Visa (which is actually now expired). Getting this extension is crucial because: 1. It allows him to apply for a Religious Visa which will be a little more permanent and opens up wonderful opportunities for him. 2. Without having a current Visa, offering some assurance that Van Bois medical care will continue, his generous kidney donor is not comfortable undergoing surgery to donate a kidney to Van Boi. 3. Without a current Visa, he will lose the insurance he has in January and so dialysis and a transplant will be impossible to afford. So...last week this extension was denied. This feels like a hard hit to the stomach for many of us. Of course, we still know full well that God is in control and while many trust in this wonderful nation, we are reminded that true hope is found only in Jesus Christ. Van Boi remains firm in his faith! Please help us pray for: 1. Divine healing. 2. Favor with the immigration office in Atlanta, GA as these guys try one more time to file for a legal status. 3. Clear direction from God as to what steps to take (if any) and when to just stand still. 4. Van Boi told me that he specifically prays to be happy in any circumstance that pleases God. Please pray for the joy of The Lord to flow through this humble man of God. I know FB isnt a place to blog and I apologize for the lengthy post. I wish you knew how difficult this process has been. We sincerely need miracles that only God is able to grant.
