VC NOT HAPPY WITH THE HIGH RATE OF FNG in the Recently Released Final Year Results. Well if youre not aware, most of our Final Year results has been released and the amount of FNG that was recorded is quite alarming and nothing to write home about. Colanim results that has been released so far leaves a bitter taste in the mouth, as even 1st Class students with just One course as carry over were given FNG. From what we have been able gather, in the department of Mathematics, out of 52 students, only 28 students Passed, the rest have FNG. The Former SUG President had a discussion with the The Vc about this Issue, here is the story: In a discussion with the vice chancellor: Prof. O. B. Oyewole, who just arrived in the country also expressed his displeasure and dissatisfaction, over the final outcome of the 2013/2014 graduates result which was finally approved @ the last Senate sitting held on 6th of Nov. 2014 In his statement, I am not happy at all and I think, there are some people in our system who are so much interested in.... Prof. O. B. Oyewole. After much deliberation we had, he promised that something would be done to that result, even if it is to bring back waiver, then we would do. For now, I cannot categorically disclose here on how many courses would be waived, but you all will know that by my Oga @ the top, after the university senate holds her next sitting slated for December 2014. I want to believe this will come as your Xmas package. Watch Out! This call for the next generation to sit tight and brace up. # Ko sere mo ni Moscow# Thank God for my own result too, na God o!!! On my final watch as I used to say; lets keep hope alive! P.Kennie --------------------------------------------- Funaab Final Year no be beans o, God Help us all. Lets hope for the Best.
