SMFIs Kabalikat sa Kabuhayan Batch 78 was participated in by 146 Bantayanons from Sta. Fe. About 120 are women, wife of fishermen. Fishing is the main livelihood for 60% of Sta. Fe residents. Now the women has more productive work to do while their husband is out at sea. Most of them are DSWD 4Ps beneficiaries. The Philippine Geothermal provided most of the fund for this training. The Islamic Foundation also provided financial support to the participants for meals and transportation. Sta. Fe is one of the hard hit towns of Typhoon Yolanda in Cebu.
