VEGAN: (1944) a strict vegetarian who consumes no animal food or dairy products; also: one who abstain from using animal products (as leather). [Merriam Websters Collegiate Dictionary. Tenth Edition.] I find myself a lot of confusion around the internet, books and articles about the term Vegan Like if many different people for many different reasons and purposes are pulling apart from each other and giving very different definitions and focuses to that word. I am not the one who have read the most to have the last word on this, but as prudent, I was careful to go to the dictionary and take my definition from it. If the dictionary is wrong, then we are to define here who is the authority to settle once and for all the correct definition. Should some of us need a different definition? Do we need more definitions, one for every case? These are questions that I have had for very long time. I even though about coining a new term for a special reason. But I dont take lightly to play with words, so I have refrained from doing it. And I need the help of all the members of this group to set this issue straight and clear, please. What is your opinion?
