VENUE CHANGE - USPSA HANDGUN NATIONALS It was my hope to hold our National Handgun Championships on the east coast for the first time in 14 years. I had been working through negotiations with South River Gun Club near Covington, GA for some time. After a few exchanges, it was the opinion of both parties that a USPSA National Championship would be a bridge too far. I made a commitment to help give USPSA members the best National Championship possible, and there were just too many variables and moving parts at the SRGC facility to guarantee it. I have no doubt that SRGC will continue to host quality USPSA events and major matches for years to come, and I wish them the best of luck. I am pleased to announce that I had an east coast back-up plan! USPSA and the Universal Shooting Academy entered into a two-year agreement to host the Limited and Open/L10 back-to-back events for 2015 and 2016! This years Nationals dates have remained unchanged (Limited Oct 4-6 & Open/L10 Oct 8-10). The Universal Shooting Academy has proven itself time and time again with their ability to put on world class events. They host the IPSC Nationals every year, and were the venue to the largest practical pistol match in history - World Shoot XVII. I know that they will not disappoint!
