VERY DEEP WORDS 15. Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world-the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life-is not of the Father but is of the world. A deep understudy of our lives shows that instead of the children of the Father to leave, separate and distance themselves from the world, they have rather succumbed to bringing the world to God. Everything the Word advised us against has been brought right into the Church and Christianity as a whole to maintain a deadly balance between what God has asked us to do and what we are telling God to accept. We have done this so that we can be fell comfortable in Christ. Unfortunately, there can never be worldly comfort in Christ as those who who are genuinely in Christ have to lose their lives in order to gain Christ while those who say they are in Christ and have their lives still have already lost it because Jesus is long gone from there. Another scripture puts it like this, Love of this world is Enmity with God. There is hatred between the World and God and between God and the world. No amount of compromise, modernity, understanding, peace or reframing of the Word of God can change that. Christianity is an endangered life in this world. We must accept that fact. That is why the road to eternal life is narrow, rough and painful while the one to eternal destruction is wide, smooth and comfortable. If your Christianity is on a wide, smooth and comfortable ride, then your destination is as good as where the Word describes it to belong no matter your status or how hard you try to deceive or convince yourself. I guess the Churches arent helpful one bit in this matter with all their diluted and prosperous preaching. They are so large, loud, convincing and attractive and that is exactly what your flesh and mine desires. The end of this desirous journey is certain, dont be fooled, God cannot be mocked. Read and study your bible. Meditate and seek your help of interpretation directly from the Spirit of God. Beware of all this attractive, prosperous and happening brand of Christianity, they are poison to the TRUTH.
