VERY IMPORTANT! I have told many that it is extremely important that you answer the door during day time hours. You dont have to open it, you merely have to challenge the person outside verbally and sternly and tell them to leave. Be polite, but be confident. DONT OPEN the door, talk through it. EVERY BURGLAR knocks on the front door FIRST! They Dont want the confrontation so they knock/ring to see if somebody is home. If nobody answers, they go around back and kick a door or break a window. If you are home, and ignored them, well, now you have a confrontation and this burglar was ARMED just in case... Tell them through the door you are not interested and if they dont leave immediately tell them you have called the police. Not that you are going to call, that you have already called. Then call. If they ask if Sheila or Ricky or anyone else is home, lives there etc., this is a diversion to cover their casing...they know damn well nobody they know lives there. Do your neighbors a solid and call the police. I am hearing this little turd has be IDd and is a student at Peterson Center. Peterson Center is a school for delinquents and is located next door to Centennial High School. I will update if I get more info.
