VERY WARM WEEK ON THE WAY WITH NO SIGNIFCANT RAIN ON THE HORZION –Parts of the region are getting very dry, and conditions look set to very warm as we move into later stages of the week: Situation: A fairly settled week on the way. A rather large high pressure system is slowly moving in from the Tasman and should park itself over the country by midday Thursday. There is a LOW chance of a couple of showers mid-week, with a cool southerly change but at this stage we can’t see any substantial moisture for the next 7 days at the very least. Later stages of the week look warm, with inland areas once again pushing into the high twenties and possibly early thirties. Tuesday: Onshore NE winds will push in some low cloud, this will break and give way to a warm and sunny day. Coastal : 22-23 degrees. Inland: 26-28 degrees Wednesday: A cooler southerly flow will bring some cloud and a 40-50% chance of a few showers. Mainly fine afternoon. Coastal 19-20 degrees. Inland 20-21 degrees. Thursday: Fine and warm. Coastal: 22-24 degrees. Inland : 26-28 degrees. Friday: Fine and warm. Coastal 23-25 degrees. Inland 27-29 degrees. Saturday: Fine and warm. Coastal 24-26 degrees. Inland 27-29 degrees. Sunday: Fine and warm. Coastal 26-28 degrees. Inland 28-30 degrees. Pledge Me- Still a fair way to go, but the signs are promising! We have 5 days remaining!
