VETERANS DAY PARADE EVENT DETAILS Join the City of Jacksonville to honor true American heroes – veterans and active-duty military. This patriotic parade features more than 4,00 participants including grand marshals, senior military officials, active-duty and retired military units, veterans groups, local high school marching bands, military organizations, decorative floats, giant balloons, JROTC units and more. The parade route will begin at EverBank Field. The route will continue down Bay Street to Newnan Street, follow to Independent Street (which turns in to Water Street) and will end at the Prime Osborn Convention Center. Those watching the parade are encouraged to show their support by wearing red, white and blue as well as waving flags, banners and signs as the parade participants go by.
