VETERANS;WE FOUGHT FOR FREEDOM; SO WE WERE TOLD A few months ago the governor of Ga. of Atlanta and the mayor of Atlanta and the atlanta falcons wanted a new football stadium, the citizens of Georgia protested a few days later on fox news channel the governor and mayor of Atlanta issued a statement the stadium will be built wheither you like it or not at a cost 10 million including 2 churches 2 house of GOD. So much for freedom, I am a vietnam veteran, I was told by my superiors in the army that we was fighting for freedom.A week ago my girlfriend was in the paulding county hospital there is a sign on the front door no smoking within 35 feet I was sitting in the car about 200 feet from the door, a security officer walked up and said sir you can!t smoke here so I told him the sign says no smoking within 35 feet so I asked him where do I smoke at,he said next to the highway,I said what if I get hit by a car, his answer that was not his problem,so much for freedom. In Ga. our politicians are trying to pass a law you can!t smoke in public parks, what is next they will proberlly make us not even be able to smoke in our own home, and if we do we proberly have to pay a fine or jail time. I ask all veterans WWII, Korean,Vietnam,Iraq and Alfganstan veterans it is time we take our freedom back, the average citizens will not stand up they are afraid,it is time the veterans stand up for our neighbors.A veteran friend of mine told me before he went to Vietnam, he never touched a ciggerett when he got in his first fire fight his nerves were so fragglied the first thing he did was ask his buddy for a ciggerett and he has been smoking ever since. It is time veterans to take our freedom back!!!!. GENE BREAUX DALLAS GA A VIETNAM VETERAN
