VETS & VET NURSES AMONGST THE HIGHEST RATES OF SUICIDE. To our Kalgoorlie vets & vet nurses; through out the year you deal with the pain of of continually putting abandoned & abused animals to sleep due to inconsiderate people that claim to be human. From abandoned animals to, abused ones, ones that are no longer wanted/re homed & ones that end up dumped in the pound. You really do have to clean up other peoples mess which is not what you studied years for. Knowing the silly season is upon us, your new year will no doubt consist of the same problems; people that get animals for Christmas presents then no longer wanting them, back yard breeders that want to make a quick buck, people that do not vaccinate their animals & the list could go on.... I wish you all the strength to continue the brilliant work that you do in a town that has a major problem. Also to the two main rescue groups in Kalgoorlie no doubt you will be over run with un wanted animals in the new year, i also wish you nothing but strength to not only deal with the animals but the humans as well. Wishing a better future for not only the animals but you all as well.
