VGMA Wahala – ‘Ole Seke’ Singer Dr Slim Sends A Message To Charter HOUSE By inside-GH We are still on the VGMA nomination wahala and as the day goes by, news keep on generating from the list we have been given. Many popular acts including Gasmilla, Stonebwoy, Kofi B, to mention but few havent been happy about it and this morning, one of the most influential young acts in Ghana, known as Dr Slim with the OLE SEKE single sends a message to Charter House. Dr Slim stated below… Am very disappointed in the board of charter house for choosing some old artists as the new artists of the year. Aside that choosing particular songs as songs of the year. I was here when samini’s hit song Linda wasn’t nominated but now we all see what is happening there. Ole seke was a hit song last 2 years and was nominated under the best hiplife song of the year. Best song and best collaboration of the year and instead of them to put me as a new Artist they refused to do that. I don’t blame charter house because its now monopoly. Unlike other countries that have Grammy Awards, Bet Awards, etc, Ghana has only one and that is VGMA. Why won’t they be messing up and doing whatever they want when they see no sort of challenge or competitor. Im really disappointed in them
