VIA: FB Friend Susan I promised my old mare, Miss Jo, that I would never quit fighting against horse slaughter in Oklahoma and the United States. Please take a minute to read through the list of people running for office in our state and consider their votes on the issue of horse slaughter. These people ARE running in the upcoming election. Oklahoma Senate: District 4: Mark Allen - Voted FOR of horse slaughter District 6: John Breechen - Voted FOR of horse slaughter District 14: Frank Simpson - Voted FOR of horse slaughter District 18: Kim David - Voted FOR of horse slaughter District 44: Ralph Shortey - EXCUSED from the vote District 46: Kay Floyd - Voted AGAINST horse slaughter **** YEAH!**** Oklahoma House: District 3: James Lockhart - Voted FOR of horse slaughter District 6: Chuck Hoskin - Voted FOR of horse slaughter District 12: Wade Rousselot - Voted FOR of horse slaughter District 16: Jerry Shoemake - Voted FOR of horse slaughter District 17: Brian Renegar - Constitutional Privilege - No Vote?? District 20: Bobby Cleveland - Voted FOR of horse slaughter District 26: Justin Wood - Voted FOR horse slaughter District 28: Tom Newell - Voted FOR horse slaughter District 35: Dennis Casey - Voted FOR horse slaughter District 36: Sean Roberts - Voted FOR horse slaughter District 45: Aaron Stiles - Excused District 46: Scott Martin - Voted FOR horse slaughter District 49: Tommy Hardin - Voted FOR horse slaughter District 76: David Brumbaugh - Voted FOR horse slaughter District 83: Randy McDaniel - Voted FOR horse slaughter District 85: David Dank - Voted FOR horse slaughter Districct 86: William T. How much worse could their opponent be?? AL MCAFFREY is running for the U.S. House, 5th Congressional District. He is running against former state senator Steve Russell who I know nothing about. What I do know is that AL MCAFFREY voted NO on horse slaughter in Oklahoma. CONNIE JOHNSON is running for Coburns seat, and also voted NO on the horse slaughter vote. I hope this information is helpful to Oklahoma voters who are against horse slaughter in our state, and who are in favor of passing the SAFE Act at the Federal Level. I have been writing to Tom Coburn, Frank Lucas and Tom Cole for over 10 years now, and always receive a form letter supporting horse slaughter in our state. Back in March of 2013, when the slaughter vote was pending, SoonerPoll reported that over 60% of Oklahomans opposed horse slaughter, and that A majority of likely voters, 54.1 percent, would be unlikely to vote to re-elect their senator or house representative if he or she voted in favor of this horse slaughter legislation regardless of whether or not it becomes law. Lets show these legislators that WE MEANT BUSINESS! This data was compiled from the Oksenate.gov, Ballotpedia.org, soonerpoll. It is easy to confirm this data, should you desire. Please share this with your Oklahoma friends!!
