VICKSBURG Log: The Sailors of Vicksburg volunteered in several Community Relation Projects during our stay in Naples, IT. Help me in thanking these amazing Sailors as they volunteered over several days participating in the annual Filipino Community Center children’s Christmas party and assisted in various activities, games, and gift-exchanges. Another team assisted in food preparation, served lunch, improved the cleanliness of interior facilities, and interacted with homeless children and teenagers at the San Gennaro church in Pozzuoli, Italy. Finally as they assisted church local volunteers in food preparation, served lunch, improved the cleanliness of interior facilities, and interacted with the homeless at the San Gennaro church.
