Speaking about reading and intelligence it is obvious that the NDC as a party is suffering from intellectual paralysis. For four years during Mills rule Fiifi Kwetey economics was used to govern and manage Ghana. As a result Ghanas economy broke down and has still not recovered. Why wont the economy breakdown? I have never heard Felix Ofosu Kwakye, Fiifi Kwertey and their cohorts make intelligent analysis of the social, economic political situation in the country. This stems from the fact that and as Victoria Hammah clearly pointed out these people do not read, they do not learn. As a result they lack the knowledge that comes from reading and learning. That is why they always turn to propaganda. When they speak it is always easy to detect the flaws in their argument. What makes Kwaku Baako different from all journalists in Ghana is the fact that he appears to read and therefore has developed his intellectual faculty which he uses to not only critically analyse issues but also to demolish his opponents. Sometimes I get extremely worried when I compare the intellect usually displayed by young politicians in Ghana with those in Britain such as Chuka Umunna MP chuka.org.uk.
