VIDEO : CALIFORNIA SURPRISE. On the 23rd May, 2014, I waited on my bicycle in Redondo Beach to surprise my friends from Team 1MWER, Faizal Sukree, Zamri Mohamed Mwer, Madie Saad and Sudhirjan Ahmad Kunjoo as they rode into Los Angeles from Mexico on the penultimate leg of their World Endurance Ride. Only Faizal was aware that I had flown from K.L. to await their arrival and to invite them to stay with me in my home. I rode with the team from KL to Russia last year and had last seen them when i said goodbye in Siberia, Russia, just 11 months previously. And now we were about to meet again. This was a wonderful day. A week later we rode together Northwards towards Vancouver, the last leg of their year-long journey. (Video footage is from three GoPros located on my chest, Faizals helmet and my driveway.)
