VIDEO: Cult hero says gday to his new fans. YOUR SAY: Will George Rose crack it at the Dragons? HOME TURF TO SEE ROSE BLOSSOM Refreshed, relaxed and rejuvenated - thats the reinvigorated approach St George Illawarra fans can expect out of new recruit George Rose in 2015. After the season from hell in 2014 in which the cult-hero played just nine matches at Melbourne while suffering homesickness, the 31-year-old is already feeling at home with the Dragons and is planning a full-time move to the South Coast in the coming weeks. Hopefully it has a good impact, he tells Big League. Its already definitely had an impact on my training so far. Im enjoying my days more and getting involved in a lot of other stuff. Its been real good Ive been back around the family and back around my mates. Ive even enjoyed these first few weeks of pre-season, just being around everyone. And I definitely like it being back on the beaches again too. Its nice. Originally I was just coming back to Sydney just to get back here. I wasnt talking to any clubs; I guess I was just thinking if I was going to play I would put it on hold for another month to miss another month of pre-season. That would have been nice. But the day I ended coming down to meet with the guys down here I knew straight away that this was going to be a good place for me. I got the buzz and I was training within seven days. – SCOTT BAILEY
