VIDEO: Flood recovery slow on Siksika First Nation The state of emergency has been lifted on the Siksika First Nation east of Calgary where rebuilding after June’s flooding has so far been slow. Hundreds of people are still camping out or living in shelters, but temporary mobiles will be set up by the end of the week, officials said. Prefabricated homes will be brought in once it has been determined how many homes are habitable. The water treatment plant is still not working so water must be boiled. A bridge and many roads were also washed out in the community. westcoastnativenews/video-flood-recovery-slow-on-siksika-first-nation/
