VIDEO: KiniTV Inspector-general of police Khalid Abu Bakar today slammed English newspaper New Straits Times for risking the safety of a policeman abducted from Pulau Mabul in Sabah recently by publishing a report claiming a ransom demand has been made. Khalid dismissed the report itself, telling people “not to listen to rumours”. He said that he had requested clearly that any matter pertaining to the cop being held hostage now should not be reported as news.
