THE GREATER POINT MADE BY the fact that the ancient Jewish world was able to calculate the phase of the moons average conjunction to within 2 millionths of a second of our best satellite-based calculation demonstrates the superhuman nature of biblical Revelation. The world thinkers want to limit this realization to super-evolved aliens, but the Author of the Bible tells us who He is (Isaiah 43:10-11) and that there is no creature like Him--HE IS GOD! SO THEN, WHAT IS THE DEEPER APPLICATION of the realization to us? AMAZINGLY, NATURAL REVELATION led the ancient philosophers to understand that we actually exist in the Mind of God. Plato understood this in terms of what he called Ideal Forms (eg. the Idea of a table exists even if all tables were destroyed) and Paul the Apostle quoted pagan poets in his discourse with the Athenian philosophers in Acts 17:28, where he said about God, In Him we live and move and have our being.... This is why in Romans 2 Paul tells us that the secular world is actually responsible to God for what they know about the natural world!!! FOR YOU AND ME DAY-TO-DAY this is a significant context for how we live among people in general. We are not ignorant of the greatest of all realities. We know the Creator. We know the Redeemer. Therefore, let us be strong and bold in our witness to him in the world. And let us rest securely in the knowledge that he who created Time is guiding us toward the destiny that he has revealed in the Bible--the place where HE HID A CODE to a supernatural calculation and where HE SHOWED HIMSELF TO HUMANITY in the person of His Only-Begotten Son.
