(VIDEO) Obama: US won’t make any coalitions with Assad government Speaking at a presser following the G20 summit in Brisbane, Australia, the US president ruled out any cooperation with Assad against the terrorist group. Media reports suggest that the Obama administration is reviewing its Syria policy, as Assad remains in power more than three years since the start of the insurgency in the country. Obama, however, noted that his administration isn’t working to topple the Syrian leader. The US is leading a coalition of several Western and regional countries to target the ISIL militants in Syria and Iraq. But, it’s made little headway so far.
